About This Trail

This interpretive slickrock foot trail (distinct from the Moab mountain-bike Slickrock Trail) crosses open bare rock and offers expansive 360-degree vistas into Big Spring Canyon and Little Spring Canyon, with the La Sal Mountains and Abajo Mountains on the horizon. Slickrock - a general term for any bare rock surface - dominates much of the Canyonlands landscape here. Marked viewpoint spurs branch off the main cairned route.
