About This Trail

This easy out-and-back follows the canyon rim from Grand View Point Overlook, the southernmost stop on the Island in the Sky scenic drive. It extends about a mile to a second viewpoint, with panoramic views across corrugated canyons, the White Rim four-wheel-drive road, and features in The Maze and The Needles, plus distant mountains. NPS lists it at 1.8 mi round trip with 73 ft of elevation change.
