Red Butte Trail in Kolob Terrace

It was a technical summit hike. The views are stunning. Figuring out a challenging route is required. The beautiful Red Window Arch is included. Red Butte is located outside of Zion National Park. The asphalt turns into gray when crossing over the cattle guard. The point of Red Butte can be seen from the left. The dirt road leading to Red Butte is just outside of Virgin, UT. It's recommended that a high clearance vehicle and 4x4 drive be used. Motor vehicles are not allowed in the Red Butte Wilderness area, because of a green gate.
