Dog Valley Overlook

The trail is short near the summit of Henness. There are views of Dog Valley, Peavine Mountain, Sierra Nevada Verdi Range, Bald Range, Crystal Peak, and Truckee River valley. All motor vehicles are not allowed on this road. A variety of birds, mushrooms, flowers, and native forest can be found on the trail. The end of the trail leads to Dog Creek Canyon and Dog Valley. There is no trail-head sign at the parking lot.
