Tall Trees Grove Loop Trail

A good hike through a remote part of the park. You need to go to the Kuchel Visitor Center on the coast to get a pass and the combination to the lock on the access gate. It is a short distance up to the gate from 101 and a long distance down to the trailhead from the gate. The trail goes down to the river through groves of trees. There is a flat loop at the bottom with a lot of trees and interesting flora.
