About This Trail
This huge fin is visible for miles. It is given many different names by the locals. The rock is high above the canyon and provides excellent views. Locals say that this rock is a giant lightning rod because of the high metal content, and that you can find lightning craters on the peak. The trail is an old ATV track in the lower areas, but near the upper end it is washed out. If you attempt it with an ATV, make sure you have the technical expertise to get through this stretch. The trail is rocky and exposed to the sun. It is steep with a consistent grade and is wider than a single track.
