About This Trail
The old Indian trail was used in the past to get out of Ogden Canyon and onto the salt lake plain. The trail is forested and has a wilderness feel to it. It is well maintained and cool during the summer. The Indian Trail is a moderate hike that goes through a lush evergreen forest. It climbs steeply into the canyon, and then descends into the canyon on its way to Nevada Viewpoint. There are two ways to get there: you can hike it out and back or arrange a shuttle.
