About This Trail
There is a nice and easy peak near the Yosemite boundary. It is an easy peak for those looking for a beginner's introduction to travel in the Sierra. You will find a nice use trail if you follow the northwestern ridge. If you decide to head up the slope first, you'll have to navigate through brushy overgrowth. The easiest way to get to the summit is by following the northwestern ridge. The view of the Sierras include Northern Yosemite, Mount Conness, the lakes along Tioga Pass Road, and across to Mount Dana.
