About This Trail
The old growth hike along the McKenzie River is a great way to see the 600 year old pines. It was easy to follow the views and peaceful settings. You will cross the Mckenzie and other streams on log bridges. The trail is one person wide and there are rocks. The trail gets a lot of use and you should be aware of mountain bikers. There are many places to stop and take in the view, lunch or to fish.
