About This Trail
The trail is named for the trail builders of the local BLM lands. The majority of the trails in Red Rock Canyon are in Mt. These hard-working young people help to make Charleston, Kyle, and Lee Canyons a great place to visit. The SMYC trail is named for the program that helps troubled children. It is lined with rocks as it crosses the wash, and has stone steps to assist in loose footing on the steep slopes.
