A great hike along the South shore of Causey is the Skull crack Trail, it is a beautiful trail going from the South parking area to the further reaches of the lake. The trail rises towards the lake and then returns to the lake level. This trail is popular with hikers. The quote is "bike Horses riders, fishermen and others enjoy a good hike, and they like the view. In the summer the lake turns into an aqua green due to the minerals in the water. canoes and kayaks are a popular sport at the lake. It is popular during summer and fall but is also well-liked in winter. You will find it at Causey and Skull Crack.
