About This Trail
It is possible to cross the river at the Momyer Creek trail head. The Momyer trail is well maintained and you can follow it for the rest of the way. There is a small wooden sign near the Wilderness sign. The sign says turn left and go up a small trail. The trail goes through a beautiful meadow before heading into a forested area. The trail goes up to a saddle junction. Go left after following the trail to San Bernardino Peak (East), then go through another saddle to San Bernardino Peak (West). Stay left at the Y. The route to descend should be reversed. The trail is lightly traveled, has great views, and is not steep.
