About This Trail
This is a legendary high altitude hike. It's the best done in two days with overnight primitive camping. The water is found at the junction of three creeks and at Lodgepole Spring by Dry Lake. It is not for the faint of heart that altitude and pack weight are serious factors. The sea level hikers will have a day to acclimatize to the altitude before they make the ascent. The quote was from the Dry Lake or Lodgepole camp sites. Relating, over achievement can push to Fish Creek Saddle or Trail Flat camps.
