Point Mariah and Sterling's Canyon Trail

There is a great trail at the Royal Gorge Ski Area. The trail is managed by a land trust. It's a short trail and not too steep. The elevation is the most difficult aspect if you are not used to it. The best part of the trail is the view. To the east is the Sierra crest and to the west is the North Fork of the American River. It's amazing, and the wildflowers along the way are great. You can cross country ski here during the winter. It's a great trail, highly recommend it!
