Mount Madonna Meadow Trail Loop

The Meadow Trail leads to a pen holding the park's small herd of white fallow dear. The park south of San Jose has three popular campgrounds that may leave parents wondering where to work off some of their kids' energy. The 2.5 miler is a great choice if you are not sure how much the little tykes can handle. The ruins of the summer house Henry Miller built in the 19th century are located at the Henry Miller House site. William Randolph Hearst gave the white fallow deer to his heirs. This is a great all-season hike.
