About This Trail

Imported description
The ruins of a land baron's mansion are located at this park. One of the best ways to see all the park has to offer is through the route that goes through Mount Madonna County Park. Sprig Lake trail goes through all of the park's major campgrounds and then goes through one of the prettiest stands of redwoods. The ruins of the summer house of Henry Miller, a Gold Rush-era land baron whose properties stretched from the Bay Area to Mexico, are passed through a pen of captive white fallow deer. The Merry-Go-Round Trail is the last link and connects the Sprig Lake Recreation Area.
