About This Trail
The Brainard Lake Recreation Area is where the hike starts. The $12 fee to enter this area is paid in cash. The road to this site is not open from October to June. Visitors can park outside of the closed gate for free. It would add a number of miles to this hike if the parking was done at this trailhead.
