About This Trail
The James Peak wilderness is the subject of a quote from a forest trail. The first part will lead out of town to a jeep trail that leads you to the crater lakes. You will find it again once you keep pushing the trail; it doesn't know exactly what it is yet. The areas of rocky surface tocontinue trail are highlighted by the crests. Middle Lakes are not very far out of the way. It can be accomplished by staying on the path that goes along the left side of the lake. The Upper Lakes do not take less effort. Continue towards the lower lake and the final lake at the Continental divide. The summer is a good season to have fishing equipment in your possession.
