Burleigh Murray Ranch Trail

A nice and short hike through the chaparral and costal areas. It's most likely that you will only see a few others. The current trail goes up to a 1930's bungalow that is a park residence on the old ranch road. The trail goes off the road and crosses the creek to allow the visitor to look back in time. The valley is between a covered hill and a road. The trail goes up past the wooden tanks that provide water for the park residence, but then it goes down into the dense growth of stinging nettles, poison oak and coyote brush. There is no water in the park.
