About This Trail
Take this scenic detour off the Stuart Fork Trail to reach a lake that gets less traffic than the star attractions further up the main drainage. It is required for overnight visitors to have a wilderness permit. There are free campfire permits required. Most access roads in the Trinity Alps are closed during the winter.
