About This Trail
Take a walk around the loop at the popular park west of Cupertino. The Upperkaitten canyon is one of the prettiest parts of the park. The trail also climbs to see the views over the South Bay. The route goes beyond the popular areas to explore the terrain on the eastern side of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Rancho, as the locals call it, has a lot of flat trails but few visitors visit the wilds of the park seen on this hike. Autumn will have a touch of fall color and the summer will be hot, but cool in the canyons.
