About This Trail

Excellent views of south Utah County. The West Mountain ridge trail is a gravel and dirt trail that leads to the true summit of West Mountain 2. The gravel road is south of the Lincoln Point boat launch area. There are usually lots of people shooting at targets at the beginning of the road. It is bumpy and dusty for about 4 miles to the top of the communications towers. If you take it slow, the road is good for a passenger car. It is a good idea to park near the towers and follow the tracks south. The path with the West Mtn 2 summit is clearly defined. The majority of the inclines are not steep and an easy hike. Excellent views of the south county area.
