About This Trail
The Narrows may close during flash flood warnings. It is recommended to check the conditions before visiting Zion National Park. The trail that leads to the mouth of the Narrows is known as the "Riverside Walk Trail" and is a paved trail. The shuttle buses drop off at the trail head and there are water filling stations. There are sandy areas near the entrance to the Narrows where you can cool off. It is a good idea to go as far as you can up the river, but be careful as the water can get high in some places. The shuttle system in Zion National Park brings guests to various stops along the way. You can find a map on the website of Zion National Park.
