About This Trail

Imported description

It is a beautiful point to point hike that has its parking lot widened and graveled. They suggest that you walk across the road and into the forest. It is a creek crossing. It includes Alpine wetlands and rolling forest. There are several other views of the Middle Sister, Mount Jefferson, Three Finger Jack, and the North Sister. The final part of the hike is walking on basalt. It is possible to go east to the observatory when you come out at highway 242.
