About This Trail

Dogs must be leashed at all times in Washoe County Parks. The hike in the Eastern Sierra of Reno/Washoe valley is very strenuous. The trail begins at Davis Creek and ends at Rock Lake. The views of Slide Mountain are fantastic and the Rock lake is one of the more unique Sierra lakes. There are fall color opportunities along the trail. The trail is a hard climb but the last.4 is down hill. The trail is actually a small creek bed.
