About This Trail
The Glacier Trail is a continuation of the Bristlecone Trail. The only glacier in Nevada is nestled beneath Wheeler Peak. You can see snow as well as the rocky terrain. The Wheeler Peak parking area is where you'll find the trailhead for the Bristlecone Pine Glacier Trail. The trail goes through groves of park's ancient trees and up into a glacier cut canyon. The trail is 4.5 miles and has a gain of 1100 ft. You can take the Glacier Trail to the only glacier in Nevada, Wheeler Peak Glacier, which is nestled beneath Wheeler Peak.
