About This Trail

Imported description
To get to this area take Tanque Verde Rd and keep going toward the mountains until it becomes Redington Rd. At around mp 2 it turns to dirt. This is a pretty rough road but any vehicle can do it, however slowly. This route is for dirt bikes. Park at the parking area around mile post 12 of Redington Road #371. Start off heading south on trail #37 then go west (right) on Trail #4424. This connected you with #4417 (left) now heading southwest until you connect with #4426 again turning left and heading south. Shortly you come upon a trail intersection where it meets with #4405. If you continued going south it would take you to Chivo Falls. If following this route, continue on 4426 which veers to the left heading west and eventually turning south. It eventually connects back to 4405. At this point, take 4405 west. If you go north it will take you to the Chiva Falls area again. Continue on 4405 West and it eventually turns north. There may be some water here and you should be aware that the sand on the bottom can be VERY soft. Traveling on, you come to another tough spot with very large rocks (mini boulders) to have to take the quad over. Then you immediately come to another water crossing. It looks very shallow, but again the ground can be soft. Now 4405 is circling back and you will meet back up with 4426 and you will have made a complete circle. Continue back the way you came in to get to your vehicle. This whole trail is up or down. Very little flat relaxing travel. So be ready for an adventure.
