About This Trail

The trail is exposed. We recommend that you wear sunscreen. Even though the water spigots are close, it's still a good idea to bring your own water. Trekking poles are recommended. mule trains have the right of way no matter what happens. Heykers have the right of way. The wildlife should be left alone. Do not feed the deer and Squirrels because they look cute. Squirrel bites are the number one injury at the Grand Canyon. Take out your trash and wear well-fitting clothing and sturdy shoes. Crowded near the top. You're important, be safe! It is the Grand Canyon and it is a long way down.
