About This Trail

Humphreys Peak is the highest point in Arizona at over 12,000 feet and is one of the most scenic viewpoints in the San Francisco Peaks. On clear days, hikers can see the Grand Canyon. The trail is north of Flagstaff. This is a strenuous rocky trail with a high elevation gain. Humphreys Trail is open year round but it can be difficult in the winter. It is recommended that you use the recorder feature in the app to avoid getting lost.
