About This Trail

It's a wonderful hike for the seasoned hiker. The material is on the bucket list. A point to point or round trip is what is said. The shuttle to the opposing rim is required for point to point. Can be done north-to-south or south-to- north. It's better to come from the South Rim of the North Rim, which is 8000 feet above sea level. The lodge and facilities are closed during the colder months. The hiking season starts in May and ends in October.
