About This Trail
It was a quick hike to the abandoned mine. It is possible to access Prince of Wales Mine from Silver Fork and Alta and Little Cottonwood. There are lots of old abandoned equipment, but no structures left. You will still want to watch smaller children closely, even though the vertical shafts are grating over with steel. A small detour near Prince of Wales Mine can provide spectacular views of honeycomb canyon.
