About This Trail
The trail goes past Dollar and over Gunsight Pass before reaching Henrys Fork Lake. The Upper Painter Basin is about 2 miles from the trail junction. It is said to take 3.5 miles to get to Anderson Pass. The north ridge of Kings Peak is 1.5 miles to the summit. This portion has a lot of boulder hopping and has a beautiful view. The Upper end of Henrys Fork Basin is where most hikers camp.
