About This Trail
Supposedly, a moderately straightforward hike that ends at a stand of flowers along the gas Pipeline trail. The trail leads into the Maple Dell Camp's parking lot on the north end. Go through a gate located at the parking area for the natural gas supply transformer. As these are active cattle corrals you should not park in front of them. Take the trail past the gates and take a left into the scrub Oak and maple groves. "To follow trail through the trees is to follow the line that goes up hill and leads through to the pine forest." There's an easier option to follow in the mountains that does not involve riding through the maples/oaks. While the Pine forest is on the US Forest SERVICE land near Maple Dell they allow hikers to use the trail connection.
