Pine Creek Trail and Climbers Trail to Mescalito

You get a rough time once past Mescalito Peak. The pools of water will be found a little past the peak. The best place to view the pool is on the north part of the trail. If you go toDark Shadows, then you can follow the stream from the valley as it is there most of the year and there is still pools and evidence that the stream is there. Part of the stream can be found on a steep side of the valley, which is very similar to ice box canyon. That's right, it's easier to go on a walk around a few boulders than between Mescalito and Dark Shadows.
