About This Trail

Imported description
A three mile hike on a trail. Beautiful views of Noah's Ark and Vermillion Castle. The original Ark is lost to the world, but the origin of this rock is lost to history. It is thought that the rock pinnacles of Zion National Park were named after a Methodist minister who decided to name them after him. The settlers were startled by the similarity of the shape and called it Noah's Ark. The Noah's Ark Trail is a trail that is maintained. The last half mile of this 3 mile round trip is difficult due to steep, crumbling rock formations.
