About This Trail
The washout on the trail has closed the Starvation Ridge Cut-off trail. The Starvation Ridge Trail is still accessible. The Trail of Defiance was paraphrased. Hike to the highest point of the Columbia Gorge and see Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams is considered the hardest trail in Oregon. You will find amazing views of the Columbia Gorge when you climb this volcano. Adams and Mt. are both paraphrased. St. Helens is a paraphrase. The top of Mt Hood is marred by a bunch of communication equipment, but you will still find a great view.
