About This Trail
It was a day hike from Mineral King Valley to Eagle Lake. The hike to Eagle Lake is very long and steep. It starts at an elevation of just above 6,600 feet and goes up to 10,0000 feet at Eagle Lake. The trail is often shaded when it passes through the forest. The Eagle Hole in the Ground is near the junction with the Mosquito Lakes trail. It can be done in Half a day although it may be more relaxing if you do a full day.
