Miles Standish, Huckleberry, and Peninsula Trail Loop

This is a mountain biking or hiking route. It starts at the Activity Center parking area and heads south across the meadow, then continues east on Miles Standish Trail. This trail is single-track and can be slightly difficult and narrow at points. Eventually turn left to continue north on the Huckleberry Loop Trail. Huckleberry takes you all the way to Scenic Drive just ¼ mile below Osprey Point at the northernmost tip of the peninsula. Continue on Huckleberry Loop trail to Porcupine Point, about a half mile below Osprey Point, then return along the western side of the peninsula to the wider Peninsula Trail and continue south around the campground and back to the Activity Center. During this time the park is open to snowshoers and cross-country skiers. No dogs are allowed in the park during winter access season, except on Rover’s Round About (a dog loop for skijoring or snowshoe walking). This loop connects to other trails in the park if you wish to extend your trip. This trail offers great views of Payette Lake.
