About This Trail
The trail begins at the Activity Center parking lot. You can go around the campground and then go north along the western side of the peninsula. The first mile of the trail is paved and ADA accessible. This trail has great views of Payette Lake. The trail is a double-track, so people can walk or bike two abreast until they meet someone going the opposite direction. The park is closed from December to March. The park is open during this time to snowshoers and cross-country skiers. Dogs are not allowed in the park during the winter access season. This is part of a ski trail. If you want to extend your trip, this trail connects to other trails on the north and eastern side of the peninsula.
