About This Trail

Imported description
This loop starts at the Meadow Marsh Trailhead. You go north on Meadows Marsh Trail taking a right or left at the split about .2 miles up the trail. Then instead of following the loop around, head north to Fox Run Trailhead. At Fox Run Trailhead, take the Lily Marsh Trail to the marsh and cross over the bridge at the north end of the marsh. Then cross the Fox Run Trail and continue north on the Ridgeline Trail. This brings you to the Huckleberry Loop trail. Head west and come to a crossing of Scenic Drive about ¼ mile below Osprey Point. Cross the road, then continue down the hill on the west side of the peninsula on the Huckleberry Loop Trail. This will bring you to the Peninsula Trail, which will then lead you back to the campground. Cut east through the campground back to the Meadow Marsh Trailhead parking area. Although some trails in the park allow biking, this loop does not. Meadow Marsh, Lily Marsh and Ridgeline are hiking only trails. During this time the park is open to snowshoers and cross-country skiers. No dogs are allowed in the park during winter access season, except on Rover’s Round About (a dog loop for skijoring or snowshoe walking). Meadow Marsh, Lily Marsh and Ridgeline are snowshoe only trails and winter access starts at the Activity Center, adding .3 miles to the trip. The west side of the loop is not signed or accessed in the winter, so the return trip is back the way you came or walk on the edge of the ski trail opposite the classic track and not on the 15 foot skate lane. This loop connects with other trails in the park, if you wish to extend your trip. This trail offers great views of Payette Lake.
