About This Trail
There is a trail in the area called the Mahogany Hill trail. The parking lot on Salt Creek Canyon road is where you can start. There are some aspens and scrub oak on the trail's path up the side of a meadow. The trail is worn down with cows in some spots. If you want to connect to the trail, you have to hug the canyon, but not extremely well marked. There is a stream at the beginning of the trail. The trail does not reach the top of the hill, but you can push through the oak brush to get there. They don't have a good route from the SW corner of the loop to the bottom of the hill.
