Lovell Canyon Trail

There is a hike through the wilderness near Red Rock Canyon. This is a very easy hiking that takes you through a wooded area. There are many trees along the trail. They say that the trail tends to rise and fall at elevation. The US Forest Service put in a trail with help from local horse people. You can do it from the trailhead to the trail or back, a distance of 4.5 miles. There is a way to extend the hike by almost two miles if you add the slalom trail to it. There are options, that's what paraphrases. It is wide open for joggers and hikers, as there is no evidence of use by horses in recent times. A mountain bike is not allowed on this piece of trail.
