Cliffs of the Neuse Longleaf Trail

The cliffs of the Neuse State Park are a landmark for hundreds of years. There are several hiking trails that take you through the forests and riverside habitats. The local communities like the 11-acre swimming lake with a bathhouse, grass-covered lawn, sandy beach and diving platform. The picnic grounds are close. The park has group campsites and a family campground. The visitor center offers exhibits that investigate the natural and cultural history of the region.
