About This Trail
The main attraction of this trail is Bunchgrass Ridge. The ridge can be accessed from both ends, at its northwest end or its southeast end. A point-to-point trip or a backpacking trip can be made with 2 vehicles. This is a trail that is used by both hikers and bikers. The ridge is globally horizontal with some shallow dips at the 2 mile mark and a saddle or passing mile before reaching Big Bunchgrass if you continue after the notch. The main appeal of the Bunchgrass area will be the views along the way, as well as wildflowers.
