About This Trail

This is the premier hike in the preserve. The park's peak is a local landmark for pilots as it is brush-covered and stands out in contrast to the grassy peaks. You can walk through the oaks on the peak once used by Charles Lindbergh. The hiker can linger a little longer on the beautiful spring-time views of the Livermore valley and windmill farms. The clouds dance and move through the hills on a foggy day. This is a great hike for dogs and can make for a special day with the whole family.
