About This Trail

It was a 3 to 4 day trip tracing one of the most difficult South Rim trails. The Boucher Trail is the most challenging trail in the South Rim. The trip begins at a road that is closed to private vehicles. Every 15 and 30 minutes from about 5 am to sunset, there is a free shuttle bus that will take you to Hermits Rest. The shuttle bus stop is at Hermits Rest.
