About This Trail
Instead of riding/hiking out of lower ponds, try some of the other trails. It is extremely important to respect horses, deer, and their habitat. It can take days or weeks for another hiker to see you in the desert. The hills to the peak contain pine trees, and there are wildflowers there. According to an article, there are approximately 80 curves on this trail. The mountain trails are more difficult than this one. It isn't a beginner's hike. There is a log book off of the trail at the peak. It is suggested that a dry hike must include a large amount of water.
