About This Trail

Imported description

The trail is called Forest Service Trail in this case. A large portion of the trail was badly burned in the September fire. There is still plenty of places to view the burned area. The east side of the trail loop provides excellent views of the Indianola valley and Mt. Loafer. The majority of the trail leads through a campground which provides water and restrooms in the summer. One small spring flowed into the east half of the loop late in Sept.
