About This Trail
The Ballroom ruin and the ruins of the Butler Wash are both reachable by short hikes. The trail to a view point was developed from the parking lot and pit toilet. The trail doesn't take you to see the ruins. The Ballroom ruin trail begins at a parking lot. When the trail forks, bear left. You can't miss the ruin in the cave mouth. The ruins are in poor condition. The cave is impressive and the timber anchor holes in the rock show how complex it was.
