About This Trail

Please be aware and not enter the interior rooms of the Citadel Ruins. The Citadel is a nice ruin located in Road Canyon. You will travel down the 261 until you reach Cigarette Springs Road. Cigarette Springs Road is well-maintained. There is parking near the rim of Road Canyon. You will see a BLM sign after you turn onto Cigarette Springs Road. The trail begins on a packed sand trail along the south side of a canyon. You will have to hike some exposed slickrock areas to get to the ruins.
